Our Search Process
Bartholdi Partners, LLC, maintains a consultative approach to the executive search process. Our Clients ultimately determine the process by which we execute an assignment. In general, Bartholdi uses five phases in the search process that can be modified, enhanced and/or eliminated based on our clients particular needs.
First Phase - Organizational & Industry Audit:
We identify and understand your needs and requirements and develop a search strategy. A position specification is written, reviewed and approved along with a corporate vision white paper written collaboratively with designated corporate staff or CEO. Begin potential target company identification in.
Second Phase - Identify and review:
Review position profile and vision paper with Bartholdi research team and survey Bartholdi internal and external candidates. Initiate external original research, develop potential candidate list and assist in evaluating any internal candidates that may be put forth by the company.
Third Phase - Interview and Present:
Contact, interview and qualify prospective candidates and prepare candidate presentations for review. Perform reference checks, both given and sourced. Prepare Candidate Profile Forms and present list of qualified candidates.
Fourth Phase -Selection and Presentation of Offer:
Understand candidate and client concerns and facilitate in narrowing candidate field down to final field or short list. Assist in structuring and presenting offer to candidate while facilitating both internal and external communications between the candidate and the company.
Fifth Phase - Transition Planning and Follow up:
Assist in planning to assure successful transition of candidate to company. Provide follow up review after candidates 3rd month at company.
